Kotoyama’s Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) manga is inspiring a TV anime that will premiere next July on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block. The official animation site was opened on Thursday, and a promotional teaser video, visuals, cast, and staff were released. The video reveals and shows Creepy Nuts’ title song “Yofukashi no Uta” (Call of the Night).
Tomoyuki Itamura (Monogatari series) is directing animation for LIDEN FILMS with director Tetsuya Miyanishi (Josee, The Tiger, and the Fish). Michiko Yokote (Bleach, Shirobako, Prison School, Cowboy Bebop) is writing the screenplay. The character design is by Haruka Sagawa (Happy-Go-Lucky Days).
Viz Media licensed the Call of the Night manga and released 4 volumes in English on August 10th. Cartoon Description:

Kotoyama (Dagashi Kashi) launched the Call of the Night manga on Weekly Shonen Sunday in August 2019. Shogakukan published eight volumes of the edited book on July 16th and will publish nine volumes on November 18th.
